Project Locked - Project is Unviewable. I was suggested to digitally sign the file under Access 2003, and then re-convert it to Access 2007. However, I cannot do that as I have deleted the 2003 version of the file. Any other suggestion?
Tools - VBA Project Properties Also pops the same 'Project Locked' 'Project is unviewable' msgbox.:(If there is a password I can guess it but I'm never prompted for one. Nor do any settings hint it's protected. I recently needed to unlock an Access VBA Project for which my client had lost the password.

When I right-click on a module in the Objects column, 'Design View' is greyed out.
When I go to Database Tools--Visual Basic, double-clicking on any object brings up a pop-up saying 'Project Locked: Project is unviewable'. When I click Help, just the regular table of contents comes up--nothing specific to that error.
I've searched online, and the explanations of this problem seem to involve older versions of Access, and digital signatures. This is an Access 2007 database (although it was converted into such from an older version), and as far as I can tell, there is no digital signature.
Does anyone know where this error is coming from?
